[[Demi]] Things were slowly starting to get back into place. Over the next week, Joe never left my side and I never left his. It was Monday at school, and Joe and I were finally going public. He opened the door of his car and I stepped outside. He took my hand in his and began walking. People stared at us and I tried not to notice, but it was too hard. I could almost hear what they were thinking. 'what a freak' 'why is she with him'. I put my head down. [[Joe]] I looked at Demi and she seemed uncomfortable. Looking around, I saw that all eyes were on us. "Demi," I whispered. She looked up and I kissed her softly, closing my eyes and being engulfed once again with the sweet, soft lips of hers. I pulled away slowly. "I love you," I said. I made sure that I said it loud enough for everyone else to hear. She smiled and held up her hand. I looked at her with furrowed eyebrows. 'Its sign language for i love you' she wrote. My face lightened up. "I didn't know you knew sign languag! e," I said with a smile on my face. 'Ive been practicing for the past few weeks' she wrote. I thought of an idea and smiled even more. "Would you be okay if I learned with you?" I asked. She smiled and nodded. People at school didn't talk to us or talk about us. I stopped talking to Zac and Cody. It's like I was getting a restart, and I loved it. I had a chance to be the real me. I hung out with Selena, Miley, Demi, Nick, and Miley's brother- Kevin.
